Specializing in quality, family friendly and inclusive entertainment, while our films may not be a tentpole for a major studio, almost if not equally important to a studio’s reputation is having a roster of quality films, which we can contribute to at a low-budget range.
The feature film, “They Are Discriminating Against The Blobs” has won “Best Feature” and “Best Director” at the Toronto Original Authors’ Film Festival, among other awards.
Studio Yolanda’s 2nd Film is still in development.

Chris Wheat founded “Studio Yolanda” with the goal of creating meaningful, impactful stories, and contributing to the public discourse as much as any major studio. Named for his mother, the mission of Studio Yolanda is to help push important conversations forward through the arts. Chris is a fiction writer, screenwriter, and director with past experience in politics.
“They Are Discriminating Against The Blobs,”won "Best Feature" and "Best Director" at the Toronto Original Authors Festival, and was selected for the Stockholm City Film Festival, where our star, Barbara Kanninen as “General Bobbi Robertson”: A 4-Star General tasked with an impossible dilemma, won “Best Actress.”
